A moon rock brought to Earth by Apollo 11, humans' first landing on the moon in July 1969, is shown as it floats aboard the International Space Station. Part of Earth can be seen through the window. Genuine moon water has been found for the first time in rocks that were brought back to Earth during NASA's historic Apollo missions 40 years ago.

The smaller, though heavier white dwarf in HM Cancri pulls gas away from its larger companion. The stars orbit each other in a record 5.4 minutes.After a decade of mystery, astronomers have now shown that a pair of white dwarf stars spin around each other in just 5.4 minutes, making them the fastest-orbiting and tightest binary star system ever found, the researchers claim.
